Why are we doing it?

So people can sponsor us to raise money to support people in Uganda who have mental health problems.

The NHS Trust we work for has links with a hospital in GULU (Uganda). Our staff work with nurses in Gulu and the UK, sharing skills and helping develop their Hospital and its services.

What a fantastic cause and well done for using this challenge as a way of generating cash. Have you contacted the press? If not I may be able to help.

I'm not going to lie the walk is tough especially the hike up Mam Tor which is half way round.

My advise is train for it, carry the right equipment, let someone know the route you are taking and rough timings you estimate to be at each stage, take some high energy food and finally enjoy.

Please let me know how you get on and please send photos if you take any.
